Annapolis Arts Week Is Back—and This Year, the Artists Do the Talking

MAY 2026 — Annapolis Arts Week returns June 7–13, bringing together painters, poets, musicians, muralists, storytellers, and performers for a week of community-centered programming. This year’s theme—the art of storytelling—comes to life through artist interviews, video features, and photo essays that highlight the creative community and the city that supports it.

Every event is created and managed by artists, rooted in two foundational convictions: that artwork is work, and that creative living is a necessity. Annapolis Arts Week champions the economic dignity of artists while making creative experiences accessible to everyone who calls Annapolis home.

“We exist to honor the heartbeat and history of the Annapolis arts scene, and the extraordinary people who make it what it is.”

— Darin Gilliam, Co-Founder, AND Creative Collective
